Want to add Custom Icons? Here is what we need.

SIZE:

Virtue Icons:
Icons or Portraits that will replace the Virtues at either side of the Shield need to be 900x1200 pixels at 600 dpi.
You can leave blank space above or to the sides, however, one set of sides should touch on the borders.
(The Icon should be either 900 pixels across without blank space or 1200 pixels from top to bottom without blank space or both.)

Shield Icons:
Icons that will replace Items on the Shield need to be 690x460 pixels at 600 dpi
You can leave blank space above or to the sides, however, one set of sides should touch on the borders.
(The Icon should be either 690 pixels across without blank space or 460 pixels from top to bottom without blank space or both.)

FORMAT:

The Icons should be saved as either GIF, PNG or JPG (BMP is also acceptable however it should be placed in a RAR archive before
uploading or emailing.) When saved as a JPG all types of compression or smoothing should be disabled or, if you can't disable
compression, the size of the image should be multiplied by 8 (900x1200 would become 7200x9600 and 690x460 would be 5520x3680.)

FILE NAME:

The name of the file should contain the "Order Number" of the Grant followed by a hyphon and the location where you want it to appear
on the Grant. You can either use the number map located here, or you can name the file(s) based on the "Field Name." (211182-9.GIF
or 211182-Virtue1.GIF would be the same location, as would 211185-3.BMP or 211185-Rank.BMP.)
It is important to Name the Files correctly or we will have no idea who they belong to or where to place them on the grant.

NOTE:

ANHC is not responsible for the quality of the Icons you provide. If you provide low quality Icons for us to work with, then that is what
you will get on the Grant. With that in mind, please provide the highest possible quality of Icons that you can while sticking to the above
requirements.
The requirements are there for a reason, even though the size of the Icons may seem large on your monitor they will not be that big when
they are printed.
We reserve the right to delete images from our server at any time for any reason. We will not use images that are "inappropriate" on a Grant!

TECHNICAL NOTES FOR ADVANCED USERS:

First off, BMP is the most accurate format to use and will get the best overall results, however, due to its size we require all BMP images
to be compressed in a RAR format.
Second, we chose the RAR format for two reasons, the first is that it is more likely to be recoverable in the unlikely event that it gets
damaged. The second reason is that it is less likely to get a virus attached to it (unlike ZIP files.)
Third, we print at 600 dpi and Monitors don't normally go beyond 96 dpi (just something to consider when working with custom Icons.)
Fourth, if you want an area of your Icon to be Transparent make it as close to a true white as possible (RGB value of 255, 255, 255)
then fill it with Magenta (RGB value of 255, 0, 255) and DO NOT ANTI-ALIAS. Only values that are perfectly Magenta will be
transparent.

WARNING: If you submit Icons that are not in the correct format we will need to contact you in order to decided how to proceed.
A $5 additional charge may be applied if we need to correct the format for you.
